Hello members. We are delighted to report that our limited-edition 50th anniversary merino wool jersey was very well received by those that ordered one. So well received in fact that we have had several people ask if we would do another production run. In response to your demand, we are putting out another call for expressions of interest. If you are interested in ordering one of these jerseys, please let us know.
The last run was for 40 units and the cost was $225 CAD all in. The new price is dependent on the number of units ordered, so this price may be different. However, we will make an effort to keep the per-unit costs as close to the original pricing as possible. We are targeting to have them ready for this September, just in time for the cool weather. If you are interested in ordering a Cima Coppi 50th Anniversary OBC jersey, please let us know by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and by e-transferring a $100 deposit to email@example.com no later than June 30th.
Cima Coppi's website can be found here: https://cimacoppi.cc/en/full-custom/110-ottawa-bicycle-club-50th-jersey…

In recognition of the very first meeting of the Board of Directors of the newly re-constituted Ottawa Bicycle Club held on April 27, 1971, Mayor Jim Watson has proclaimed April 27th, 2021 as “Ottawa Bicycle Club Day” across the City of Ottawa today.
We continue to plan forward for the Ottawa Bicycle Club's (OBC) Rideau Lakes 50for50. Get acquainted with 50for50, join us at our OBC social:
Wednesday, April 21, 2021, 7:00-9:00 pm: 50for50 – the routes, the prizes, when and how to register. Guest speakers: Emily Graves, Harold Blount, André Gauthier
It was on this day, Thursday April 15th, 1971, that the founding organizational meeting of the re-formed Ottawa Cycle Club was held at the McNabb Community Centre in Centretown.
OK .. we came up a bit short of 50 rides for our 50for50 event and so we think it would be great to have a contest to top us up to 50!
- Got a special route you love?
- A place you cycle to revive your spirits?
- The route you always recommend to new cycling buddies?
Let us know and enter our contest!
We are looking for routes that are gravel to road, 50km (or less) to 150km (or more) and highlight the joys of riding through, around and near the cities and towns of the Rideau Lakes from Ottawa to Kingston.
Participate, get excited, get training and help us make this event one to remember!
See Contest Details on the RLCT webpage !
... think about what makes your favourite ride so special!
