The Board of Directors is the management body of the OBC, with powers defined by the Ottawa Bicycle Club Constitution. Directors of the Board are mandated by club members to conduct club business on their behalf through elections held at the Club's Fall Annual General Meeting. To support the activities of the Board and those activities which relate to specific portfolios such as socials, Rideau Lakes, and touring, many directors have established committees of members to help plan and organize these activities.

Board Meetings

Monthly meetings of the Board of Directors are usually held on the first (non-holiday) Monday of each month. The purpose of these meetings is to conduct new business of the Club.

All members are welcome to attend board meetings and find out more about how the club is run. Members can also take part in specific portfolios or committees by approaching a director.

Meetings are normally held at the club house at 170b Booth Street. Contact the Club office for exact location.

The Annual General Meeting is held in the fall.
