Upcoming Touring Events

There is still room in two of the forthcoming touring events: Adirondack Quickie, and Summer's End Century Tour.

The Adirondack Quickie is on the last weekend of August (Aug 22-24), based in Wilmington NY. The inn is located at the base of Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks and is close to Lake Placid. You can choose from a selection of routes put together by Paul Young, a veteran of cycling in the area and the tour's organizer, from quiet back-country roads to serious climbing. There will also be hiking options, for which the area is renowned. More information is available on the Adirondack Quickie page.

The ever-popular Summer's End Century Tour takes place this year on September 6-7. This tour starts and ends in Ottawa, with an overnight stay at the Navcan hotel-class facility in Cornwall. Food, entertainment and a great social atmosphere keep this end of season tour very popular. More information is available on the Summers End Century page.

Application forms are available on-line for OBC members with a valid bulletin board id for each touring event. Application forms should be submitted to the club office with payment.
