Socials

Social get-togethers are scheduled throughout the year to give OBC members a chance to meet when they're not cycling.

We have regular monthly socials with speakers who share their insights and experiences on topics such as touring, racing, first aid, nutrition, and massage techniques.

In addition, we have a club picnic late in the summer, a club banquet in the fall, an open house in December, and winter nights of skating on the Rideau canal and cross-country skiing in Gatineau Park.

What a great way to meet a variety of people with something in common -- cycling!

 Socials are held on the third Wednesday of the month from October through to May in downtown Ottawa at the Naval Officers' Mess, 78 Lisgar Street. The doors open at 7:00 pm with the presentation starting at 7:30 pm. A $ 3.00 cover charge will be collected to offset the room rental fee.
