Brian Trafford, member of the Ottawa Bicycle Club Junior Racing Team is the new Junior National Champion of the Points Race at the National Track Championships in Bromont, Quebec. Brian was riding with Team Ontario, which dominated the event in an impressive display of teamwork which supported Brian's aggressive attacking style.
Ottawa Bicycle Club member Bailin Xie who normally races in the U15 category, raced against the older Cadets (U17) and won silver medals in the Sprint event and bronze in the Omnium (an overall placing).
Congratulations Brian and all Ottawa Bicycle Club Junior Team members competing at the national championships this week. All athletes performed above our expecations and we look forward for more development and achievements in the years to come.
