Calling all Group Leaders and Group Riding Clinic Instructors

For the Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday rides we expect to have an ever-growing requirement for Group Leaders. As new members continue to come on board, we will also have a continuing need for Clinic Instructors for our Group Riding Clinics.

2009 Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour
Posted January 24th, 2009 by adminOn the road again... for the 38th Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour. Bicycle along one of four picturesque tours to Kingston and back. Come and join us for the two day tour enjoyed by so many cyclists. The 2009 edition of the Rideau Lakes Cycle tour will be held on June 6th and 7th. The 2009 Application Form is now available on the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour webpage.

Upcoming Social - January 21st

Doors open at the Naval Officers' Mess at 7:00pm. Cost is $3 per person for use of the facility. Inexpensive cash bar. All are welcome including non-OBC guests.

Upcoming Bicycle Maintenance Course

The Ottawa Bike Club is offering an introductory bike maintenance course this winter. Instructor Dan Montag will share his extensive knowledge of bikes in an interactive, ask lots of questions environment. Instructor Dan will bring his bike and share helpful information on maintaining your bike.
