Happy Holidays from the Ottawa Bicycle Club. The club office will be closed on December 26th but will be open for regular winter hours for the remainder of the holiday season.

Founding club member, Peter Tyler has been over a month at the Ottawa General Hospital suffering from post operative complications, which have put him on dialysis for three days a week.

In consequence of having missed many of cycling's annual social functions, and not wanting to miss any more, Peter has organised an Open House at the Ottawa General Hospital cafeteria this Thursday, December 13th, from 7-9 pm.

The final race on Dec. 2 will go ahead. But there will be a single event for all categories at 10:30 am. Registration is at 9:00 am.

The city again requires that we post at least two marshals on the path that runs through the park to warn passers-by about the race. We cannot hold the event without them. Volunteers should e-mail Bob Woods in advance.
