ABC Time Trials

Time Trial Results

Start Location

The Almonte Bicycle Club 40 km Open Time Trial will be starting from Calabogie. Course runs south on Highway 511, starting near the Grassy Bay intersection, 0.5 km south of the Madawaska bridge, for a 21 km outward ride with a 19 km return.

Parking

Tourist Information cabin on the southwest corner of the Madawaska River Bridge on Highway 511 south of the village.

Directions

Highway 417 to Arnprior, Calabogie on Highway 508, some 18 km north of Arnprior via Highway 17. A map is available here.

Registration

Registration opens at 7:30 AM. To accommodate the extra distance to Calabogie, registration deadline is 8:00 AM to sign on. First rider off at 8:31. It helps us to know approximately how many riders will participate in these time trials and we ask that anyone planning to ride contact either Kathleen Milne or Les Humphreys during the week before the time trial.

Eligibility

Open to licensed riders and members of OCA affiliated clubs. Results count towards the OBC Best All Rounder (BAR) Award.

Other Information

Privvies are on site, but bring toilet paper. Munfords will appreciate the business if you drop in for coffee.

• Liability waiver must be signed prior to event
