ABC Time Trials

Time Trial Results

Start Location

The Almonte Bicycle Club 40 km Open Time Trial will be starting from Calabogie. Course runs south on Highway 511, starting near the Grassy Bay intersection, 0.5 km south of the Madawaska bridge, for a 21 km outward ride with a 19 km return.

Parking

Tourist Information cabin on the southwest corner of the Madawaska River Bridge on Highway 511 south of the village.

Directions

Highway 417 to Arnprior, Calabogie on Highway 508, some 18 km north of Arnprior via Highway 17. A map is available here.

Registration

Pre-registration is preferred.  Please contact Kathleen Milne by 6pm at the latest the day before the time trial.  Once registered riders must show up to sign on at the start before 8:00 am on the day.

Race day sign on opens at 7:45 AM, closing at 8:00 AM. First rider off at 8:31.  

Eligibility

Open to licensed riders and members of OCA affiliated clubs. Results count towards the OBC Best All Rounder (BAR) Award.

Other Information

Privvies are on site, but bring toilet paper. Munfords will appreciate the business if you drop in for coffee.

• Liability waiver must be signed prior to event
